Terms of Service.

Selects is a photo editing studio for wedding photographers, operated by Tonash Group Pty Ltd (ABN 57 611 062 321), trading as Selects Studio, based in New South Wales, Australia (“Selects”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at hello@selectsstudio.com.

These terms govern your use of this website and the Selects platform at app.selectsstudio.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

Selects provides culling and colour grading services for professional photographers. Work is performed on Lightroom Smart Preview catalogs you supply via a cloud-storage link; we never require, and ask that you do not send, your original RAW files. The service is offered to businesses, not consumers acquiring services for personal use.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or are used unlawfully.

Before submitting your first job you will be asked to sign the Selects Editing Services Agreement inside the platform. That agreement governs each editing job you submit (scope, files, turnaround, revisions, liability). If these terms and the Agreement conflict in relation to a job, the Agreement prevails.

Fees are displayed before you pay and are charged in full at the time of submission, processed securely by Stripe. For Australian clients, prices are shown and charged in AUD inclusive of 10% GST; a tax invoice is issued for every payment. For clients outside Australia the services are a GST-free export and prices are shown in your local currency. Custom-quote jobs are priced and confirmed before any work begins.

Our standard turnaround is five business days from the point your payment has cleared and your files are accessible. Turnaround times are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees. Inaccessible, expired, or password-protected file links pause the clock until resolved.

If a delivery does not match your brief, tell us within a reasonable period and we will correct it at no charge. One round of revisions is included with every job. Changes to the brief after work has begun may incur additional fees.

Because each job is bespoke work that begins shortly after payment, fees are not refundable once editing has commenced, except where a remedy is required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

You retain full ownership of your images at all times. Selects claims no ownership of your work. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and edit the files you submit solely to deliver the service. You confirm you hold the rights and permissions needed in the images you supply. The Selects website, platform, and brand remain our property.

Selects operates as your behind-the-scenes editing partner. We will not contact your clients, will not claim authorship of your delivered work, and will not use your images publicly without your prior written permission.

You must not use the service to process images you do not have rights to, upload unlawful content, interfere with the platform’s operation or security, or attempt to access other users’ data.

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any job is limited to the fees you paid for that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. You are responsible for retaining backups of your original files. Smart Previews are working proxies, and we are not liable for loss of originals we never held.

We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always be published on this page with its date. Material changes to the Editing Services Agreement require your acceptance before further jobs can be submitted. You may close your account at any time; jobs already in progress are completed under the terms in force when they were submitted.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
