Why Selects exists.
Wedding photography is one of the most time-intensive careers there is. You shoot all day, then spend weeks editing. By the time you deliver, you’re already behind on the next one.
Selects was founded by Matt Ashton, a working Australian wedding photographer with more than 500 weddings behind him. He outsourced his own editing, found the experience wanting, especially the tools, and built the studio and platform he wished existed.
We built it to work invisibly inside your workflow. No branding, no evidence, no compromise. Just your images, edited to your standard, returned on time.

Who does the editing.
Our editors are experienced in wedding photography. They understand the difference between a throwaway frame and a moment worth keeping. That judgement, the human side of the cull, is something no fully automated service can replicate.
Every editor on the team is assessed before being assigned jobs, and retouch work is handled only by editors specifically qualified to do it.
